Ice Fishing Dewitts?????

Has anyone ever heard or actually ice fished dewitts pond?
My uncle said his friend ice fishes there all the time!
I have never heard of anyone ice fishing there, I thought it would be
winter killed.

useless pond, I have only ever caught them there in any numbers shortly after they stock it. It's too small to sustain a fishery for much longer that a few weeks after stocking, it gets fished out very quickly. just my 2 cents anyways.

I've actually tried a few times and while I didn't catch anything there definitely still are some fish in the pond as I saw them on the flasher. Unless it was dead fish floating by underneath....

I've ice fished it and caught some there. I haven't done it late in the season though. Usually in December.

heard it gets winter kill by some local people. that's why they are building another pond near that area doesn't get winter kill.

i mean they are thinking of building another pond nearby. sry for misleading info. the info i got is from talking to people who involves in managing dewitts pond.

There are a lot of muskrats in there lol yeah there are a few but I still say it is rather useless
