Devils Lake Report.

Hey everyone I headed out to devils lake today and me and my buddie each caught our limit of perch. I also saw two pretty big jacks.. no bites from them tho. they were a good christmas eve's dinner!
the ony thing was the tracks wernt very good but im sure as more people head out there it should be all good! Merry chrismas all and good luck to all you fellow fishers.

well done did you go straight across the lake from the main boat launch? or fish near the road just off 43 in the bay.

I couldent tell you the roads... im only 15 aha.
but we got to the boat launch and walked west and we were in around 5-10 feet of water = )

pics?? devil's is dead from the guys i know that have been there 3 or 4 times this year without a bite and dirty tea colored water. how big were the perch u caught?

I used to fish Devils Lake. Then I fished Wabamun and consitanly pulled 15 - 30lb pike through the ice. Depending on where you live...might be worth while to try Wabamun. And before the Vets claim this is all at the boat launch or outlet...trust me its not. There are plenty of big pike, whitefish and burbot in that lake and if you find the right spot, you can get yours. Try where no one else fishes..hint hint lol
