Had a good day on Sherburn Sun.I caught 12 perch and missed lots.4 of them were 10 in. They were bitting good when we got there and almost quit by noon.

I didn't but there were trucks driving on the ice. There is about 16 in. of ice.

What part of the lake were you fishing at?? Thinking about heading out there tomorrow with the kid and would like to make it eventful for her since we dont get out much.

They are hard for kids to catch out there.If you want a good kids lake try Enchant park lots of perch and the odd trout.

Was at Grassy on 24th and a few times before found that in afternoon go deep 30-35 ft they bit till dark and bigger fish 9-12in

I was down there too Sunday. Same total, a dozen, released a few and lots of other nibbles. Set up approx 8:45. Bite was awesome till 10:30ish, then had to move around a lot. Couple bites here, couple there, not too many fish after 11. I had about 10-12 holes on the go, Dad had about half that. We were getting most bites in the 25ft range. When I went deeper (28 to 40ft) I landed the smallest of the day and had no other bites. Good ice, but we walked on for the first trip out.
