Has anyone fished it trough the ice. If so how did you do,another thing i an wondering if they plow the road on a regular basis.any info about this would be great, i a'm thinking of mabey going there for a couple of days.

Fished it a few times,you can drive on at the boat launch.Stay close to the shore and fish the drop offs.
(Not to sure if you are supposed to drive your truck off after you ets up or not)
Some good size rainbows and an odd brookie.We used jigs tiped with dew worms or maggots.

Gorgous place on a nice day,the wind can sometimes blow hard though.

I'll assume you no its closed till Jan 2.
I always thought there was a bait ban there but after checking i guess there isn't.Would be a scary drive in if it wasn't plowed or worse yet have it snow 2' while your there.
