Waterton Reservoir

Just wondering if anyone has fished this reservoir this winter? How are ice conditions? I know there have been a few days of warm weather down here in Southern AB, will this affect the ice much? Any info would be great. Thanks!

as a kid i used to fish it alot...it gave me fits i never figured the res out. some days trout when like gang busters some days i couldnt find any pattern of fish movement. the nice thing about the res is there is so many places to go to if they didnt bite. we used to fish below the spillway also in open water and when the wind blew hard it was sheltered below the dam

I haven't fished the dam this year but we were out at beauvais, west of Pincher last weekend and had to drill about 2 feet of ice.
