Spike-my second ever deer

Got this little spike buck yesterday morning. He's no trophy(understatement!), but will be awesome eating!

my third year deer hunting, my second deer....maybe I should try my luck for anterless supplemental and fill the freezer. The landowners told me to help myself to the garden raiders

I was pretty happy with the kill shot, he was running past and stopped abut 70 yards away when I grunted at him. I used a weight chart to measure him, he was about 150/170 pounds live weight and very very fat!

I can't resist ....I may go for a doe if the weather's decent
