Sylvan Lake Conditions

Does anyone know the ice conditions at Sylvan lake...thickness, can u drive out, etc? Also how are the whites biting or are they biting at all?

Kidding of course...ice is fine, people have been driving on at the bay for a while. Unfortunately you missed the good white bite....but doesn't mean at any given day they can turn on and you can have luck...trial and error i guess.

I have been catching a few 'eyes at Marina Bay over the last 4 days on jigging spoons tipped with a minnow head, seen a few whites but haven't got one to take any of the offerings.

Has anyone seen or caught any perch at all? Have tried the NW end, off Kuusamo and Marina Bay, haven't seen a single one yet....

Too early for perch over at the NW end IMO, they are all south and east. Although I haven't been this year.

Has anyone tried the cliffs south of sunbreaker?
