I Think he meant the pigs who were fishing, not the wild boar type.

Any chance a guy can get close to the lake with a minivan or car and walk the rest of the way. I am planing on going this Sunday and don't want to waste my time if I cant access it.

oh, I wish :) but I was talking about pigs with two legs and two hands...and whole bunch of trash around their fishing trailer :(

I talked to a local guy about wild boar in this area, and he never seen any of them, but heard about wild boar north from Carolina...some local stories, I assume :)

I think jts1 means that it would be a shame if it were to burn down because they didn't maintain the furnace...:scared0018:

Maybe since it appears it is all fished out they could do a test and blow a stick of dynamite under the trailer and see if any fish rise to the top of the ice. LOL.....
Too bad in such a nice place.

We can get them too haha, j/k. u think a jeep could pull that trailer out and take it to the road to clean the lake up a little?

Fellas,
Just wondering what Yellowhead Lake you guys are talking about the one I know is near Caroline in ES 3 and its not open to ice fishing due to aeration.

Yes we are referring to the one by Caroline. No aerator there and is open to fishing if you can find any in there. Winter kills bad and only stocked occasionally so doesn't fish well. The place nearby that is closed with aerator is Fiesta lake. Beaver is aerated by there as well.

Birch is also aerated and doesn't winter kill...I guess if I head up that way I'll take my chances with Birch.
