I drove to my elk spot this aft(Nov 9), stepped out of my truck , walked to the edge of the ravine and immediately heard an elk bugle. I hiked down in to where the distant sound came from and arrived at the spot where the bull had called from. I followed his tracks but wasn't able to catch up before dark or bring him in to me. Has anyone else heard elk this late in the year? Im hoping to sweet talk him in to me tommorow.
