Personally I haven't been. But if you know where there is deep water, use same technique as you would in lower Kan.

Its full of rocks so jiggs and stuff that are ment to be fished at the bottom may not work as great.spoons, leeches, shrimp and streamer patterns work also rapala countdowns down counton geting too much.huge suckers though

I have fished there in Summer and only had luck at the North dam. I caught a decent brown trout.

Dudes, I lived at the U of C station near there for one summer and fished barrier lots. I caught some very decent rainbows(about 15-18 inches), whitefish, but no browns. I talked to an old feller who said he used to fish off the rocks years ago and nailed lots of bulls. I have been meaning to get out and try it through the ice one of these years. If anyone intersted pm me and we can check it out and then keep it a secret.

Ive had the best luck in the narrows ( near the far end where the river comes in) right on the steepest dropoffs you can find in 15-30 feet of water. Not lots of action, but nice browns. Small jigs tipped with herring always work there. have not been in a year or two, but talked to a guy who pulled out a 14 lb brown in 5 feet of water where the river flows in while fishing for whitefish with 4 lb test. There are big fish in there. i compare it to spray, with slower action on average.
