Startin to pick up a bit on Buff. Caught a few of these girls today! Lots of snow on the ice, had to do a little shovelin today!!

this is buffalo lake near stettler. The fatty was 17 lbs and 40" and the smaller one is 10 lbs. Caught a few others around the 10 lb marker today, but the camera was too cold at the start of the day!!!

Wow nice gators! that one is huge! Where do you find those beasts at Buffalo? I've been there in the summer but I've only caught a few small pike, but I would like to have a shot at some of those monsters.

cool. funny how pike in different waters prefer different baits. no herring, anchovies, or smelts inhabit alberta waters naturally, but i've found most fish in any one lake will prefer one over the other on most days.

Never thought id call BS on a weight.... On the other end though i think that pike is MORE than 17lb!!! Great work.
