Well three of us went out on Saturday Night to catch a few BURBS and walleye and it was a real slow night. We fished nearly 7 hours and only landed 3 walleye. I guess it means I will have to try a little harder this week. :sHa_shakeshout:

I am going down Wends night. Where were you guys fishing at on the lake and depth if you dont mind. I will either be in front of the boat launch or farther south down by the canal. Unless thats where you guys got screwed

Yeah we were off the point near the canal, But I truely believe it was because of the East wind that was blowing. I was in the same spot a week ealier and caught 40 + walleye and 3 BURBS i being 4 lbs. 20 - 25 feet of water.

Try fishing a bit shallower when dark hits. I find that you will find the eyes in the 20-25 foot mark during lighted hours and then they move up into 13-18 feet when it gets dark.

Also if the bite is slow try some smaller glow jigs and smaller sized minnows. I like to use whole minnows instead of chunks of smelts or bigger minnows. I usually try to carry a few different sizes of minnows for those times that the walleye are picky. I noticed on friday night when me and braun were out there that they were short biting us so when I felt a bite I would open the bail and wait until they stopped taking line. Once they stopped I would reel up the slack and check to see if there was weight. If there was then I would set the hook and usually it was barely hooked in the snout.

Good luck out there. I wish I could make it but I am thinking that won't happen.

You can't search for PCR because the limit of characters has to be 4, not 3. So can't search for RDR, NSR, SSR, PCR, CVR, Elk, etc....
