How many of you guys catch your own bait? How, where, what time of the year, and what works good for preserving them? So far i just use minnow traps with a bit of cat food in them in small flowing creeks. Is there any other ways that work good? I salt my minnows but they always seem to shrivel up and float even if i keep them in the freezer.
Heres a pic of some Pearl Dace, and juvenile white suckers.
