half moon lake

has anyone heard anything about half moon lake out by lillylake heard it got winter killed about three years ago wondering if the fishing has inproved any can anyone confirm this.:)

I can only ad that I went summer fishing there two summers ago and caught a few, nothing too big, but got something at least lol they were all about a pound or pound and a half. But thats all I know about it.

thats good to hear sounds like there coming back a bit may i ask which end of the lake you were on ?:)

i went about three years ago in the winter tried different spots on the lake and couldn.t even get a bite this is why i was wondering.

we were only out for about two hours, just got a new(to me) boat and electric motor and wanted to try it out. So we headed to the south shore from the campground launch and trolled to the west end and cirled to the north shore, most of the fish came from the SW corner.
But that was two summers ago so who knows i guess.

How big are the perch ?

there are no perch left in the lake, pike ate them all !

I live in the area and have a few friends who live on the lake. I asked one of them a few days ago about the fishing there and he said he was catching perch there in the summer, he said every year it seems there are less and less. He also said there has a=only been a few sled tracks there and hasn't seen anyone fishing there this year, maybe due to really bad flood water

I was there, small perch and pike, not too exciting. Hundreds of backswimmers in the water though so the perch definitely arent going hungry.
