Got some Nice Perch Today

The wife and I went out today and got into some really nice perch... we have spent a lot of time/miles/days trying to find some big ones, so its nice when the hard work pays off!
She caught a couple smaller ones, then she got a bite that she was convinced was a pike, and was VERY HAPPY when she seen it was a perch that came thru the hole... :sHa_shakeshout:

My new favourite perch hook is definitely the BuckShot by Northlands.

Good to see someone else got into a nice mess of perch this weekend. I have a picture on my phone of the ones we got layed out on the tailgate of the truck. Nothing quite as big as the ones you guys got but still 10-12".

It was Probily lake x. That's good iv seen what happens when x becomes y and then y becomes full of people

I have a good idea of where that lake is if it's even in Alberta. Seen a lot of those come out of such said lake. But If you post that info it'll get hammered for sure, cause there is access. Thankfully this year the snow is keeping most people off;)

some fine looking perch . was glad to get out there again myself for the first time in 4 years.


we didnt have the same luck as jbls fishing was very hit and miss for us but did manage to catch a couple of those jumbos each.
