Calling Lake: Any News???

Anybody been to Calling Lake in the last few days? If so, wondering how things are in terms of: success, whereabouts you experienced it, flood ice, and access.

Any and all help would be appreciated. With gas at a buck a litre and days on the lake a premium, one doesn't want to waste their time.

You won't be wasting your time. Make sure you bring some Krokodile spoons for jigging, and don't be afraid to jig hard and fast. You may want to wear a set of hip waders as there is lots of water and I think this big melt will only make things worse. Expect to walk or take a sled, unless you are lucky enough to own a Unimog with chains.

The lake is screwed haven't touched it in 3 weeks. Fished other lakes in that area and they're worst then calling was when I was there. So u can imagine. Sled is a must. Good fishing though.
