I am heading down to Pincher Creek on the weekend and was wondering if anybody has fished the lakes around there? Beauvais, Beaver Mines, Payne or any other.

Hopefully will get some time to catch a few.

Heard that Dipping Vat is dead... Beaver Mines Lake was also not looking good, and I think it has died..

Beauvais was good the last time I was there... Go about 100+ yards off shore and they were good on shrimp...

Butcher was good for 8-10" Brookies..

Seen some holes on Bathing, but not sure on how they made out..

Haven't seen alot of people at Lees or heard anything on it..

Haven't made my way to any other ones lately..

Good luck fishin and post your success or lack of..

I was down about a month or so ago and since I've heard the same concerns about Beaver Mines, I went to Beauvais. I myself was skunked (only stayed for a few hours due to time constraints), but there were other groups of people having some success.

Was at Beauvais last weekend. Was using shrimp on a small jig and had steady action all afternoon. Biting very lightly so be sure to use a bobber or indicator of some kind to detect the light bites. Fished out in front of the cottages.
