Talked with my cousin from up there yesterday. Conditions are bad. Loads of water on the ice and lots of snow. Fishing was very slow too.

Oops, double post. Sorry. How do I remove this?

This is what Snipe lake needs. Less access = less fishing pressure. This lake has been raped over the last few years.

I have to agree! Ever since Snipe started getting talked about over the internet, fishing pressure has gone up 100 fold. Be good for the lake to have a rest this season. Prime example why lakes with good fishing are best left unnamed on the internet.I was a culprit of this in the past, but I have since learned the errors of that. Sharing info is great, but our lakes in Alberta are too fragile to handle the insane pressure a good internet posting causes. My two cents.
