Bearspaw Reservoir?

Ive done lots of searching here, and havent found too much specific info on this reservoir. Can ya take the Bearspaw Dam Rd which parallels the North side of the bow, and drive pretty much right to it? on Google maps, it seems thats the best way to get there, but wondering if things have changed since that pic was taken. Also, any guesses on how the floodwater would be right about now? could be awful, but sometimes u get surprised. appreciate any info! cheers

It's blocked off where the road crosses the tracks. You can park there and walk in though. It's about 700m or so.
