Spencer/Touchwood Conditions

Has anyone been on touchwood this year, how is the ice and flood water condition? Heard the ice isnt even thick enough for a sled, but almost febuary!

Also has anyone been on Spencer recently and how are the conditions (ice, water, snow, fishing?)


Any information would be very nice as im thinking of trying it tomorrow!

I was out last weekend fishing was slow and lots of flood water. We had to be picky where we stopped on sleds because in some spots 10 inches of water. GOOD LUCK

Word is from the boys back home,,, it is rough going..

The bro inlaw is a big time sledder has been for years.. He tells me its the first time he can remember that he can carve out on the lakes,, the snow is deep.. After that it is over flow.. Said that the guys with short tracks are getting stuck and bad and this is out on the lakes boys.. This is most of the lakes in the Lakeland country..

Just a note to the guys going north,, be ready for some tough going.. Leave the trucks on shore and your quads in them.. Try the sleds and then bring a shovel....
