Whats with peole posting ice condtions?

Lots of guys are now posting flood ice conditions which can help keep guys out of trouble.

With the chinook in SA I think the ice conditions help. Personally, I am not a fan of fishing in a massive puddle on the ice. Also, open water (such as CPR) by the bridge. A little bit of knowledge can go a long way, especially when it comes to your safety and well-being.

X2 on all the other replys, PLUS, SINCE when are "most lakes" the same to drive on???? Snow, floodwater, thin spots, etc.... ?? I think most people do it because they like to help out their fellow outdoorsman. I know for one, when I go out, the first chance I get when i come back i log onto AO and post a report.

Its obviouse by the many threads you have started and participated in that you are just learning the ropes or havent much experience, so it may be in your best interest to maybe try and learn from these young guys and you may have better fishing seasons in Alberta!
