from NE cowtown...trans-canada east to cheadal intersection take right turn onto high way 24 going south stay on this highway till you pass thru Vulcan....near the end of Vulcan just past the ponds on the east side of highway you'll come to a intersection highway 534 east bound(left turn) stay on this road till you hit the town of Lomond(you'll see a UFA) dont turn into the town...go straight thru the T intersection...follow the signs thst say Badger Lake

not sure the badger signs are still there after you leave Lomond. don't remember seeing them the last couple of years. haven't been down this year. maybe someone can confirm?

Good directions to lamond, turn north at the east end of town and follow the pavement. Make the right when the pavement ends and watch for the lake on the right side/south. Approx 10 min from lamond.

Edit: * seems to be less snow on the north end, I woulndnt even try the boat launch*

Those signs get hacked down all the time by people... So look for the stumps of the sign if there is no sign

Well I have to hack down the signs so you don't find lake X. Just kidding the signs are there or they were about two months ago.

How about a google map? That should help.

Map to badger launch. (http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Elizabeth+St%2FAB-534+E&daddr=Range+Road+190&hl=en&geocode=FXgBAQMdXPI_-Q%3BFUzIAAMdsLVL-Q&mra=me&mrcr=0&mrsp=0,1&sz=10&sll=50.407642,-112.629089&sspn=0.639787,1.39389&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=10)

the road your looking for to go south on to get to lake off 539 is rge road 190. and access last weekend at boat launch was great. You could get on with car, not much snow on lake either

I was on the North end today. Didn't see a soul??? Gotta get insulated waterproof boots. Dunlops are great or for less $ Kamiks from Cdn Tire. Had action all day. Landed 7. Biggest was 7.5 lbs so not much to write home about. I'm one of the few who love that lake. Can't go tomorrow but PM me sometime if you wanna meet up there. Will be at the derby 4sure.
