Up at 5 am ready to go but it sounds like a 747 taking off in my back yard. The wind is keeping me home today.

I know due south of Calgary it's scary windy for driving even. Any reports on the South Eastern areas regarding the wind?

60K winds with 100K gusts in the Hat, Its keeping me from fishing also.

Was blowing like an sob in Strathmore up until an hour or so ago, now it's nearly silent! Was planning on heading south for the day but now I'm not sure?

was windy like a train going through the yard all night here, a lot calmer now, but still blowing, looks like another day of truck fishing. hung the rod out the window yesterday and it jigged my big herring very nicely !

No wind in Claresholm right now, but the forcast is for more of the same as yesterday. Good luck at PCR.

Woke me up several times during the night here in the Hat. We still have a wind warning in effect.

hey wayne, the window wiper makes for a great auto jigging device; just adjust the intermittent until you find the right action and yer good to go!!!

Woke up at 4:30 in Calgary, very windy, headed north to Innisfail and it was calm all day plus 4 sunny nice day on the ice.Was going to head east but heard the warnings this am.

Weather Network was saying Clairsholm had 130+km/h gusts and Waterton Gate had over 163km winds last night. That's ridiculous.

It was over 150 here in Pincher yesterday.. Today was windy, but not as bad...

beautiful day on Newell, got to use the tent for a change, sunny and barely any breeze at all.
