custom gun makers in peace river area

Seems overnight delivery with Canada post. They do pretty good work. When you get to peace give me a shout as I have a gun you could look at that they put together for me.

hmm ok dont judge me! lol firstly id like a really nice bolt gun in 6.5x55 for deer elk etc, then my kinda crazy idea was to buy an old bouble rifle and have it redrilled to 35 whelen for bear hunting! i just dont hear of anybody using a double rifle for that and think it would be a really different and neat gun:)

Well, I can tell you that use a double express rifle but it is in 6.5X55, not 35Whelen.:sHa_shakeshout:
My son however, has an express rifle in 9.3X74R, which is .366 calibre, and it is an awesome pice of gear to say the least!

For what you are thinking however, it would be pretty expensive to do an old double in 35 anything!
You best bet would be to buy a new or used rifle.
Two places I can reccommend are Tradeex, they have lots of used express rifle for sale, and Bilozir.net, who sell new express rifles.

thanks cat, yeah i need to discuss it with a gun maker first ive been looking round on the net and apparently some people have had double rifles made for them on shotgun actions so maybe thats something ill look into providing proofing is all good
