I made this leach a few years ago, absolutely slays any kind of trout. Figured id share it. Iv had allot of orders to tie up this year of this pattern lol.

Red Lightning

Hook-Mustad C53S size 6-12
Tail- Black Marabou with 2 pieces of Red Crystal Flash
Body-Black Ostrich Hearl
Rib-Red Wire
Thorax-Black Red Angel Hair
Bead-Red Japanese Glass bead

looks like a wooley bugger with a bead head. I'm sure it works well.

Very nice fly, I bet it would slay trout in any lake.

wooly bugger? did you see my material list, it moves totally different.

I know it works very well as I had to tie 200 of these up for various people who used them last year.

These are awesome fished real deep and along weed beds. Tie them in a real small size and perch love go crazy for them

i fished with a guy this year on the bow. i was using one of his creations he had no name for. i called the fly "the green goblin" did'nt look like this fly. you the guy?

nope....just read in another thread you're a grande cache boy. cool name for a fly anyway.

LOL yeah wasnt me and iv called it the green goblin for roughly 5 years now.

Its hard to see in the picture but the ribbing on both flys match the color of the bead and so does the flash in the tail.

I have to disagree as a wooly bugger generally has a stiffer hackle, my leach has angel hair which has way different characteristics and flows way better, also keeps the fly alot slimmer. The flash in angle hair also give the fly the illusion that its moving to. The fly is also tied way different, angle hair is not wrapped like the wooly buggers hackle. But thats just my opinion and its far from being a wooly bugger, if it looked like it then itd be called a woolybugger lol.
