I hear ya.

But has anyone on here fished there. Hitting up the cabin tomorrow and after all the snow clearing I hope to hit the lake for some walleye action.

There's some good eye fishing this year you jut have to hit up the bays or right close to the weed bed first thing in the morning... i went out about a week ago just for a bit in the morning caught 3 white 5 eye's and 1 pike.... the whites are really finiky again this year.... for me twin tail red and yellow jigs worked really well ....

Thanks Redfisher. I don't awant to know your honey hole but what side of the lake were you on? I'm going to be at sunset point. Was thinking about trying to get to tbe southside of the island.

How is the flood water? Can we drive on with 4x4's?

no 2 feet of snow and 6 feet of water, its fun to watch the trucks that think they can make it out

I was at the narrows about a month ago, there was open water under the bridge. i headed out on the ice 100yds away and started drilling holes every 10ft, lots of ice, never got a bite. then i packed up and used my 2ft ice fishing rod to cast under the bridge in the open water and landed 3 whites, they must be stacked under the bridge because i was using a jig trying for eyes. landed a nice 5lb white thought i had a huge eye on. lol. Wouldn't keep anything from that spot personally, smells awefull.

Dead this lake is not! I have been fishing lac st.anne for over 20 years! May not be as good as it was 20 years ago but we have had a better than average year!
Go deep! You go by the island or usual spots you will catch nothing Find 20 feet plus:sign0161:
