Well my uncles old m 78 Remington got a facelift today. I have no pics but was impressed with how it turned out. First the scope and stock were pulled off. Then a new xmark trigger was installed. The blind mag parts put aside. We fitted an HS Precision thumbhole stock in tan onto the action and put on a BDL floorplate. The floorplate was tight and the receiver was tighter. We had to file a bit of the stock to get it to sit straight. All bolted up with a 3-9 Leupold. The old '06 is Lookin good for another 20 years. The project will put him out about 500$.
Now I have a death trigger to play with and some adl parts to collect dust.
