Hope you still check this tonight.

Directions are via attached map: Map (http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=AB-1+W&daddr=Smith+Dorrien+Trail%2FHwy+742&hl=en&geocode=FcD-CgMdRQQi-Q%3BFfbyCQMd3ggg-Q&mra=me&mrsp=0,1&sz=11&sll=51.127229,-115.248642&sspn=0.283984,0.889206&ie=UTF8&z=11)

For rookies, my best advice is to do two things. The map takes you to driftwood launch. Park there and walk out like \ 600 meters. There is a white shack out there (at least there was) need to go that far or more. You know you're in the right spot because the depth will be about 70 FOW. Or keep driving down the road. You will see a sparrowhawk sign. Just a little past that is an opening in the trees and lots of people parking. Follow trail down and walk 1/2 way across the lake in at least 80 FOW. Can only use smelt as bait. White tube jigs or buzz bombs. Jig agressively. A flasher REALLY helps. Have fun. I hear quite a bit of snow, so pack light.
