   I love it,, I mite have to move eh...

On another note.. I'm not sure if you guys remember but about a week ago I posted some pics of a nice 6x6 we had coming to the stand.. Well we got word yesterday that the neighbours boy got it on their land about 1/2 mile from our stand.. And it gross scored 172 and change... That would of been sweet...

That is a nice buck Walleyes.
Tempting not to pull the trigger on him. Just think what he would look like you if you let him grow one more year. Looks like he could gain a pile of mass by the size of those bases.

Walleyes,

What type of trail camera do you have?

Nice buck!!

Nice buck Walleyes. You're right about the 4th tines....Wow. If the far side is the same as the close one, that would sure add up quick. I don't think I have the patience that Rockymtnx advocates but he is right - if you can handle waiting, you might be very happy with your decision next year.

Good luck either way.

Ya, tough call on that one Walleyes. Definitely a deer to take a second look at but as Rockymtx said....a year or two of mass would sure round him out...if the coyotes don't get him first.

Yah he is tough,, just got off the phone with the Nephew and after discussing the horns in more detail we are going to let him walk.. He does have good tine length but he figures he would only be about 18 - 19 wide,, and the G4 on the far side is about half the length as well as you can see the horns don't pass the nose.. So he will loose score in the beam length.. We came up with mid 50's,, he's going to live another year,,, well from us anyways...

Sako to answer you're question the camera my Nephew ordered from Cabela's.. It is a Predator, Evaluation.. she ain't a cheap one he paid $429.00 Can for it.. It has no flash its all infer red...

Tough decision but only way to kill a 170 is to let those ones walk!

No different than a game of cards. Either you're a gamblin man or not.
One thing is for sure. If you harvest him this year, he won't grow anymore once he's hanging high up on the wall.
Some people may thing my logic is wee bit crazy. But if you ever want to get the big one sometimes you have to take the gamble.

Good call walleyes.. He needs some width forsure tight rack and the beams need some length .. It will be a good one next year.. I would let it slide myself this year..! Nice buck though looks really young too.!
