I recently acquired a Winchester 30-30 for dirt cheap
upon closer inspection i found that it has an octagonal barrel and is engraved with the following
1867-1967 Canadian Commemorative
If anyone knows anything about his rifle please don't hesitate to fill me

If it has been fired and has no box with it, it is just simply a shooter. Value of about 300- 400.

With the box in unfired condition, they sell for about $600

Might get a few more dollars if you find someone who really wants one. But there are quite a few of them, collectible and shooters alike

Just wondering what an original 1867 is worth I have several octagon barrel rifles that i inherited but have never had them appraised!2 have serial # from 1867 with the paperwork from the verifier but no data as to there worth!:thinking-006:

There is no original 1867 the earliest is a 1873.1867 is for confederation 1867-1967 is for the 100 years

yep all 4 are 1873 3 with octagon barrells in .44 and 1 musket with a round barrell i have all the paperwork but the verifier that did the paperwork put them down as 30.30 but all 3 are clearly stamped.44!
