Hey all.
Just wondering if the water is open on lower k just below the dam?

There is no open water anywhere at lower k. At the interlakes end with the huge dam, its pretty much frozen solid, and ive actually walked on the ice thats visibly thinner and more "blue" looking tha was open water not too long ago. Even that was a solid 3 inches.

Iv always seen open water by the plant. Probably 100+ feet wide in fact, that stretches out several hundred yards.

Yes there will be open water....

i was there yesterday.
camshaft - there is no open water at the plant. the area you talka bout is visible, but its just thinner ice. Still walkable, would NOT recomend it tho, especially with things warming up. Bt as far as casting from shore goes, not gonna happen, shes froze solid

Right below the dam there is a current. Its usually open even if its really cold.

Ya, it usually is open. Critter just told you it wasnt open as of yesterday. This subject isnt very complicated.
