Feb. Gun Auction in RedDeer

Was anyone else at the gun Auction in RedDeer on Sat. (Feb. 19th)?

I was there Fri. at the preview and saw the .303 enfield military gem with bayonet and all that I have been looking for. Then Sat. morning I bought it and a couple of lots of books.

There were a number of good looking "hunting rifles" that went for pretty reasonable prices.

There were some fine "upland"shotguns (side by side, over and under and pump .410s and a couple of nice 20 ga. guns).

A big collection of new Marlins. Mostly the grey laminate stock and stainless steel, some in the "Marlin cartridges"

Then later a bunch of Hornady "Lever-revolution"ammo.

C-53 the Ross cadet rifle .22 went for $175.00 plus GST and buyers premium

C-60 the Ross .303 went for $700.00 plus...

It isn't in hand yet. There was some problems "clearing" it???

Maybe CFSC had to track down the grand children of some German soldier who was shot at with it (in 1944) to see if they thought it was ok for me to own it???
