I am looking to make a trip to Osoyoos to go after some bass. Have searched on line but for the life of me cannot find the regulations specific to this lake in terms of if there are closures or not ie. fishing season. Can anyone point me in the right direction or let me know if the lake has closures? Thanks.

When are you going? I may have some tips on fishing locations on the lake or in the oxbows at the north end.

I Googled "BC fishing regulations" What did you search under?

http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/fish/regulations/

specific to region 8

http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/fish/regulations/docs/0911/fish-synopsis_2009-11_region8.pdf

Bass Limit 4

OSOYOOS LAKE 8-1 Speed restriction on parts, no vessels or no powered boats in 5 signed swimming areas

Hope that helps.

the best wayy to fish that lake imo is using popers buzzbaits near sunset or sunrise. work the shorelines and use jitterbugs at night!
