I'm finding them around 12 feet... i've tried shallower (6-8 feet) but only got one all day.

Finding it harder this year getting into some decent ones

I have been catching them between 18-26+ feet right now. The fish are there this time of the winter season because the oxygen is greater in the colder water.

got quite a few on a 9 foot hump with deeper on both sides, and yesterday on an 8 foot flat. most bait just off bottom, and a few a bit higher when they want something different

I've been fishing in around 10-12 FOW on a bit of a dropoff...if things are slow I'll put out my tip-up a couple feet deeper

Just to be clear, are these depths including ice thickness?

I've had best luck in about 7fow, plus about 2 feet of ice.

So, anywhere from 1.5 to 35 ft? haha, yeah now thats Pike fishing. Fish the feeding times for more action, morning and dusk, classic, solid advice. They roam everywhere there's food, true wolves of the water.
