My dad has an older Eskimo Auger 8" model 2000-9 purchased in the mid 80's which still works, but needs a new carb and maybe transmission. Is it worth trying to find replacement parts or should I just move on? Who would be able to service in Edmonton?

Eddy's charged $160 to fix it up. Carb kit, new spark plug, fuel line and fuel tank....

Thanks for your help!

Took the auger out for the first time on Sunday since the tune up.

Added fuel to it while on the ice, worked ok. probably needs a new blade tho.

All the gas leaked out on the way home when it was laying on it's side.

wth eddy. wth.
