Hey guys, been working on some big backpacking trips for this summer and fall. Im also looking at picking up a new pack in the next couple week so was thinking that it would be neat to see some pics of everyones packs in action.

Ill probably get blasted for a rerun thread but if you got some good packing pics post them and maybe what your using for a pack.

I got a question what's the best way to strap a float tube to a 85 liter pack? particular float tube is a fish cat 4

Eberlestock J104. I honestly didn't care for it too much. Nice pack, just not for me.

I have the float tube you described and an Eberlestock J104 and I just folded it up as best I could and used the outer clips to hold it in place but then you have to pack the pump and thats bulky. The boat wieghts a ton and it sits far off your back, not the easiest to pack around, hope you are not going far, I took mine to Window Lake and it was a slog up that hill and we drove as far as you can go.

Years ago I packed a two person rubber raft to Window Mountain Lake right from the Atlas road as there was no trail then into the lake. We fished all day and watched the huge trout but never got a bite. oh well!
