Calling Lake snow conditions

With spring break coming for the kids I and another dad were thinking of taking a trip to Calling Lake with the kids. Are people driving on yet or should I bring out the sleds. Can quads bust the snow yet as I heard with the recent above temps some lakes have lost alot of their snow pack. Thanks.

As for driving on, it depends on what you drive... I have seen trucks out just south of the tower and I have heard that they were driving on at the provincial park as well. Although, I have also seen cars try to drive on and get brutally stuck. Also, there's about 6''-9'' of snow (most of which is packed). Regardless, I saw a quad on the ice last weekend, so I'm sure you're good either way.
