Golden Eagle

Took a drive today and as I crested a small hill I spotted an Eagle feeding on a roadkill deer. I didn't have time to put my big lense on but still caught the bird making it's get away.

truly amazing to see one in the wild. Huge bird!

Saw one on a backpacking trip, found it surreal.

Nice picture I sure have been seeing alot of those out west and right here around Lethbridge. I was out by New Dayton a couple of days ago and between there and Warnner seen three golden eagles

Here is a picture of the one I snaped a couple of days ago by the house there was two side by side in the tree, but when i got back with the camera one had flew the coup.

I have spent the last two weekends in BC and the Bald Eagles are every where.. great looking birds
