if anyone is planning to hit Newell in the next few days, the road into Reddelback has a lot of fresh snow on it, scraped bottom all the way in and coming out it was even worse. Lots of deeper drifts on the lake too. 4x4 time again

you can get on at the campground, Reddelback or Jackfish, all have roads in, quite a bit of snow at Reddelback, didnt check out the other 2 this weekend tho.

I know the campground access, but where are jackfish and reddellback? I know I have gotten on west of lake newell resort at an access by some type of pumping station. Is that reddellback or jackfish? I was hoping to take a friend and his kids out, but coming from the Hat and dont want to get there and not be able to get out to a reasonable spot on the ice.

Wayne lives in " Fishing Central ", the guy has more lakes within an hour of his place than we care to know about.

they are both off highway 873 be careful at the west side, might be some bad ice around the resort
