Open water spring trip

Have had enough winter-where are we going to start up the season?
The Bow-Carseland Campground?
Beaver Lake-Cathy Fly girl as guide.
Mitchell?
Did all of these last year with lots of ice still on there-fished around it.
If I remember right JTS showed us how at Beaver in his back end heavy toon.

mitchel you fish around lol you could throw a stone into the water and hit the bows they were everywheer on the shallows after ice out

we did pretty well with our fly rods-never tried throwing the rocks LOL

if I remember we were using Nymphs and/or Chironimds but.................at my age I am glad I remember where I was!
