Do you guys ever use tip-up inside your tent? If you have a big enough one?

I always find the risk of a tangle is too great using a tip up in a tent

When I'm alone in my tent I'll sometimes set up two rods inside the tent, in opposite corners as far apart as I can get them. Could do the same thing with a tip-up in hole#2 but in my case I just prefer to play the fish on the rod/reel.
As for tangles - yeah, it happens from time to time. I always make sure I keep the bail on my reel open so that if a fish does get caught up in the line it'll just take line off the reel and not my rod down the hole.

if my fingures get cold i set up a tip up or leave 2 up when im targeting certan species.pike or burbot or a walleye school. but if its a lazy day i always try a rod irst then go to a tip up
i think tip ups are more for outside. if u fish in a tent u dont need a tip up with u in there, u can just put it outside and have a bell on it or keep an eye on it
