After being away from ice fishing for about eight years my nephew convinced me to take a break from work and tying flies to take him out for a few hours. We got to the lake at 7 am and fished until around 1 pm. Out of the 30-40 perch caught only 3 were over 9" so they went back in the water.
Quite a few folks out there by the time we left but things had slowed down.
All in all a nice day weather wise and a good place to take a kid fishing.
