anyone ever ice fish ther ive never seen anyone tired once only caught a jack and seen one perch any sweet spots

I tried fishing there with my dad in December. No luck. I walked on near the Provincial Campground. There didn't appear anywhere to drive on. It looked like there was a road on the far side from the highway but as I wasn't sure how to access it I didn't risk it.

I caught a one pound perch there over 20 years ago but haven't fished it much since. I understand from the locals that it's pretty fished out.
