Forgot hotmail password now what ?

I just changed my hotmail password due to being afraid of it getting hacked. And now I have forgotten it and I have tried the forgot password thing and it just keeps asking for a secret question but I don't know what it is. How do I go about it now ? I have slot of stuff I need on that email.

Have you tried elementary teachers too? I dont know if you want me too but i can try and hack on to it for you if you pm me your email, i get it if you dont want to though haha

Hotmail also gives you the opportunity to give a secondary email account.

When you figure out your password and get back on hotmail, give the second account as a backup and then if you forget again, they can email your second account with the info.

For the secret question, try different spellings as well--you may have spelled it differently when you typed in the answer.

Customer service is your only option now. They will probably reset your account.

It's probably a good idea to write down your new passwords and put them in a file somewhere.
