Need a story about Catherine Bach there Caber.


I forget the year, but lets say it was 1978; I was at the World of Wheels with my Mom and Catherine Bach was set up on a stage giving autographs and the like. The line to see her was pretty long with all the ropes, etc. I'd have been 8 or so years old ( and usually looked younger) and when it was my turn I got up there and Catherine asked me what it was I wanted (insinuating an autograph or such). I was very nervous and probably had my hands wringing behind my back, fidgeting; I summoned up all of my courage and replied " I was kind of hoping for a kiss :)". She responded with a great big smile and then planted a big smooch on me, to the audible delight of the audience. I was over the moon :sHa_shakeshout:

I think there were similar requests after me, but she put the kibosh on those. A definate highlight reel moment of my childhood.
