So I just got the splint off my finger and it has recovered enough that I can now run and lift weights without knocking it loose. So my question to you is, what are some good workout tunes? Before my incident I didn't have an Ipod, now I do and am wanting some good songs. Thanks in advance!!!!

I like to train to angry music. I find it helps with the heavy stuff, but not cardio.

Laura Branigan,Olivia Newton John,Eva Cassidy,Cher,Nana Miskouri..........All Bad!

Rammstein,Metallica,Megadeath,Nuclear Assault,Napalm Death.........All Good.

Nothing gets the body ready for Busting it up at the gym better than "Du Hast" by Rammstein.

What kind of music do you like?

Before football practise i listen to Alan jackson, joking. Not afraid, till i collapse, sing for the moment < all by Eminem.

No love, drop the world by lil wayne ft. Eminem.

All the way turned up, by soulja boy.

Sound of madness by shinedown.

Pornstar dancing by my darkest days.

Look out below by closure

Torn by creed

Colors by crossfade

Remember the name by fort minor

Savior, and Give it all by rise against

Dragula by rob zombie

Your goin down by sick puppies

Last resort by papa roach

Justing Bieber and Taylor swift, oh wait, that was for BB416 ( he secretly loves JB).

I personally like the techno stuff when I'm doing gym.

I believe the reason it gets you in motion, is because you want to run away from that awful sound haha.

All That Remains,Drowning Pool, Static X are all great if you like the hard driving music that gets you in the right mindset for a workout. Maybe J. Bieber for your hot yoga class. Maybe Celine Dion for aerobics:)

That may be... but listen to the beat. Keep up to that on a elliptical for 45 minutes. I used to lose 4 - 4.5 pounds a week :)

Well for the first 15 mins of my run I like to listen to stuff I like because it seems I can stay at 10MPH there comfortably but I'm still pushing a bit, then for the last 2-5 mins at 15MPH I like the faster angry stuff.

For the faster angry stuff, check out All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, A Static Lullaby, Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine.

You might also want to check out the albums Pepper's Ghost and Decoding The Tomb of Bansheebot by Buckethead - some great guitar based instrumental kinda stuff. Hard to explain, but good tunes :)

I'm not much of a music listener when working out, I'm too focussed.
That said, I do try to put on a video (or some online stuff) when doing some tedious indoor stuff. I put on biathlon races when doing light bike work (recovering from an ankle injury), just because sitting on one of those trainer is just so excruciatingly boring. But when I do intervals on it, I don't need any music or other distractions.

During the last ten minutes of warm-up for a biathlon race I play Eminem's "Loose yourself". Or I did last year. this ankle has kept me off the circuit all season. :-(

The music I always play when working out is hard core pop punk rock music. Bands like Story of The Year, Rise Against, Breaking Benjamin and Alexisonfire are all my favorite band choices IMO.

Anytime I listen to these bands, their fast paced and powerful music gets me motivated.

I have to have the music on so I can focus..too a.d.d. I guess lol...always too much going on around me to catch my attention. Music helps me get through that and focus on my work out.

For working out I've found that it doesnt get much better for me than Disturbed. Something about their music gets me in the mood to really push myself.

Hair metal, all the way. They are all power songs that pump me up!! Gamma ray, Helloween, Stratovarius, OLD Metallica, Hammerfall, And I also like the fast pace of punk rock as well, I know its not for everybody.
