A cross canada poll shows that 68% ogf Quebecers beliecve that
Bilingualism unites Canada as a country .... The smallest percentile of Canadians that believe this ....live in Alberta ...as we say
Quelle surprise ....20 % of albertans believe that there is validity to canadas language laws ...
I just heard this on the daily drivel on the peoples voice CBC.

As someone who speaks both languages , I believe that spending one nickel of tax dollars on any language but english is a colossal waste....
I am against illiteracy so I think english , reading and writing should be promoted..

In the famous words of the wests favourite son Paul Brandt..

" What orher language ":sHa_shakeshout:

If you really want to drive yourself crazy start looking up the percentage of services offered and taken in french by the federal government (about 13% or less) and then factor in the millions of dollars to publish every single government document in French (millions) each year.
50% bilingual employees utilized for 5% of service in all provinces outside of Quebec.
