Just likethe title says. Want to start making my own leaders. Have some 40 lbs Fluoro, and was wondering what are some of the best holding knots for this material. Gonna be using em for jack and some walleye fishing this summer......

I just bought roll of 60lb flouro line yesterday for stelthy pike leader. I tied an improved clinch not. All I had to use was use four wraps around the line before I looped the line and pulled the knot tight. I pulled as hard as I could with the knot and the knot didn't break or slip free. :happy0034:

How about using Perfection Loop? I know some people use the surgeon's loop but it never lines up straight.

The surgeons knot is one of the best. http://www.animatedknots.com/surgeonsjoin/index.php?Categ=fishing&LogoImage=LogoGrog.jpg&Website=www.animatedknots.com
