Got a phone call from my hunting & fishing partner. Thay are having a discussion(:argue2:) about Fishing dates. Him and I both think we remember the season closing April 15. I think it would have been in the 80's. This would have been in the LacLaBiche area. Does anybody know or have an idea where to look. Thanks for any help.

Only certain lakes/rivers close in mid april. Generally it's wherever there might be a spawn. Not sure how many year round lakes are up north though, I would think Ice would last longer up there.

The lakes we fished back then were Elinor, Goodfish, Pinehurst ,Touchwood, Cache. There were a few others but that was the vicinity & I know they all closed at the same time.
