Well after a great weekend on the ice at Cold Lake with my son. We are sad to say that catching a Lake Trout on the hard water is still on our bucket list. We watched a local gentleman (if he is a member sorry I never did get your name) that we called Camo guy as he was wearing Camo insulated suit bring up a 15lb'er when we arrived and got some very useful tips. We had some bites but were unable to bring them up.
Thank you splake0 and all others that gave us some tips. My son and I vowed that next season is ours and will definitly hit it in the summer.
Again although we were unsuccesful at landing any, it was still a succesful trip with meeting some people and having quality time with my son.
You guys rock with your advice. Happy fishing to all this summer and hopefully get to meet more next hard water season.
